- Part time: Part time: 22.5 hours per week, term time only plus two working weeks Working pattern: Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Flexibility on working days and times may be considered for the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be expected, where possible, to attend trust CPD days, which may occasionally fall on a non-working day.

Are you an exceptional organiser with a passion for sport, young people and high-impact programmes?
We are seeking an Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of our BIG 3 Programme (rowing, karate and volleyball), an ambitious initiative that provides students across The GORSE Academies Trust (GORSE) with outstanding enrichment opportunities.
About the roleThis is a dynamic and varied role where you will lead the operational delivery of the BIG 3 Programme across multiple trust establishments.
You will:
- coordinate weekly sessions, fixtures and training across sites
- manage logistics for events, competitions and trips
- ensure safeguarding, compliance and risk management processes are robust
- oversee budgets, bookings, transport and equipment
- track participation and produce clear, impactful reports
- communicate effectively with staff, students, parents and external partners
- promote the programme through newsletters and social media
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving and wants to contribute to something meaningful at scale.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience managing operations, logistics or programmes across multiple sites
- is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused
- has strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- can manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes
- is committed to safeguarding and supporting young people
Experience in education, sport or youth programmes is desirable but not essential.
