The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic supervisor to our Club Vale (out of school club) team in our friendly school. The role is to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children attending the school’s wrap-around care provision before and after the school day. The post holder will supervise and engage pupils in a range of activities, ensuring their wellbeing and promoting positive behaviour. The supervisor will also help prepare and serve breakfast and light snack teas as part of the club’s daily routine.
We can offer you an incredibly supportive staff and school community who want the best for the children of Arno Vale, as well as excellent CPD opportunities.
We actively encourage you to contact the school prior to applying to arrange a visit or have a discussion with a member of the SLT.
Please be aware that school will be closed for the half term break from Monday, 19th October to Friday, 30th October.
Arno Vale Junior School is situated in Woodthorpe, a pleasant residential area on the northern outskirts of Nottingham. The school is an exciting place to work. We are culturally diverse and have a well-deserved reputation for the inclusion of vulnerable pupils. Parents take a close and supportive interest in their children’s education. Arno Vale is proud of its extra-curricular activities, its academic achievement, and its reputation as an inclusive and caring school. This was confirmed in May 2024 when Ofsted found that ‘Pupils are kind, polite, and respectful’ and ‘the school is ambitious for all pupils to achieve well’ resulting in an overall judgement of ‘Good’. We can offer you well-behaved and motivated pupils, CPD opportunities and a highly committed staff who have a variety of skills and interests.
