Grade 5 - £27,711- £33,366 pro rata per annum – actual salary (£24,047-£28,954)

Full time (Maternity Cover)

37 hours per week – Term time plus one week

An exciting opportunity has arisen, we are seeking a highly efficient personal assistant to provide professional and confidential support to the Headteacher whilst ensuring the effective running of the Headteachers office and daily business.

You will join the school at an exciting time as we prepare for the development of a brand new school opening in January 2026. You will also be joining the school as we celebrate a progress score of +0.51 (2023) and will join a staff body who support the school motto “We are all made for greatness.”

The school has an excellent reputation, built on strong and longstanding relationships with the local community and beyond. In our recent Section 48 inspection (March 2022) the school was recognised as outstanding:

Pupils know whom to go to if there is a problem, and they value the strong community spirit. They speak of solid relationships with their tutors and the extended community to which they belong, contributing to excellent behaviour.”

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience of working successfully and co-operating as a member of a team

The Ability to develop productive relationships: able to work with people and groups across a variety of levels in the organisation.

Experience of providing personal/administrative support

Ability to establish and maintain good professional relationships with Headteacher, Leadership Team Governors, schools’ staff, stakeholders and colleagues

To prioritise and control own workloads, to meet deadlines though excellent time management and organisational skills
