Hours: 36 hours per week
- Three days: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Two days: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm
- 30-minute lunch break daily
Days negotiable upon interview
Weeks per annum: Term Time + 2 weeks (41 weeks a year)
Contract: Permanent

The Latymer School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, professional, and highly organised Personal Assistant to the Headteacher. This is an exciting opportunity to provide vital administrative and strategic support at the heart of the school’s leadership team. The PA plays a key role in ensuring the Headteacher is supported in all aspects of their work, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the school.
The post holder will provide high-quality, confidential administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Headteacher’s office and leadership functions. Responsibilities include coordinating staff absence cover, supporting the recruitment and HR administration process, and delivering professional clerical and logistical support for meetings and communications.
This role also includes a range of additional administrative duties as directed by the Headteacher, including collating and preparing papers for governors’ meetings, printing and organising meeting documents, minute-taking, and coordinating key school events and leadership meetings. The PA will ensure the Headteacher is fully supported in the effective delivery of school priorities.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and professional, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, IT, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
