PA to the Principal / Clerk to Governors job summary
Responsible to: Principal
Grade: G
Hours per week: 37 hours Mon-Fri., term time plus 2 weeks
Contract Term: Permanent,
Purpose of role: To provide administrative support to the Principal for the smooth running of the Academy. To support the work of the Senior Leadership Team and Local Governing Board.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To satisfy the roles and responsibilities set out in the job description and any additional tasks reasonably requested by the Principal.

The Opportunity:

- provide strong organisational and administrative support to the Principal,
- work closely with the Local Governing Board and Senior Leadership Team ,
- lead on internal and external communication strategies and campaigns.
The ideal candidate will:
- have a good educational background, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths,
- be an excellent administrator, confident in writing and drafting communications and publications,
- possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity,
- be able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism,
- be a team player, with a ‘can do’, solution focused, attitude.
