We are looking to recruit a Parent and Family Support Adviser to join our school as soon as possible in 2022.  The core focus of this job is to work in partnership with our parents, children and their families who experience difficulties accessing education due to a variety of reasons or family difficulties.

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual to join our team. Parental influences have a powerful effect upon children’s attitudes, achievements, and life outcomes. The role of the PFSA is to assist in tackling underachievement by working in partnership with families, parents, carers, and learners in a school context to enable our learners, particularly the most disadvantaged and vulnerable, to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning and participation.

The PFSA will work directly with our parents and carers in a non-judgemental way empowering them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities available.

Parent Support Advisors promote and can represent education in multi-agency work to support and safeguard vulnerable children and their families to promote positive outcomes. Building and developing relationships with our pupils and their families is essential and as part of our support staff you will become a valuable member within our school.
