Part-time Assistant Headteacher (SENCO from September 2026, with short-term Curriculum & Assessment cover from January 2026 – August 2026)

Start date: January 2026

Contract: Permanent, part-time

Salary: Leadership scale L1–L4, London Fringe, depending on experience

Hours: 1 day per week

Crawley Ridge Infant School is looking for an experienced teacher and leader to join our friendly team.

This is first and foremost a SENCO leadership role. From September 2026, the postholder will be Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for SENCO on a permanent basis. To support the school’s needs, the role will begin in Spring and Summer 2026 with short-term responsibilities for Curriculum and Assessment. During the Spring and Summer terms, you will only lead on curriculum and assessment as we have a SENCO in post until the end of the 2025 – 2026 academic year.
