A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Cranford CE Primary School! We are looking to recruit for a part-time teacher, to support, lead and inspire our children in Year 5 and 6, to make a real difference to their lives.
The successful candidate will be driven by a committed, enthusiastic, and passionate attitude, seeking to support and strengthen the education for our children. An appreciation and understanding of each child’s specific needs, supplemented with a clear and thorough knowledge of the curriculum, will ensure a happy, challenging and effective learning environment is established, to inspire and shape each child’s future.
We are looking to appoint someone who is:
Enthusiastic, flexible and friendly,
Experienced in delivering effective and exciting lessons,
Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn,
Understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children,
Able to deliver and evaluate lessons, giving feedback when needed,
Confident in using a range of behaviour management skills,
Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently,
Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.

Cranford school is part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, alongside 32 other schools in the Northamptonshire, Rutland and Peterborough area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness. The Trust provides direct support for Teaching and Learning, to ensure our children receive the best education and that you receive the best support to deliver this.
