Yardley Hastings Primary School wishes to appoint a part time Teacher to join our friendly team. Our Ofsted rated Outstanding village school is located in a beautiful rural setting and enjoys a collaborative and supportive relationship with Denton Primary School, with whom we are federated.

We are seeking a Teacher who is passionate about learning; creative and positive, enjoys the rewarding and challenging experience of helping children to grow and achieve their very best.

The successful applicant will be teaching the class for two days a week, sharing a mixed year group Key Stage 1 class with their current Class Teacher. The contract hours will be 11 hours per week (0.4 FTE) during the academic year, for a fixed term from September 2025 until August 2026.

This post is to be paid on The Ashby Federation Teacher Main Scale, dependent on experience. Please note that we may not be in a position to accommodate pay portability.

The safety and wellbeing of our pupils is of the utmost importance to us; therefore all successful applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, medical, and other required checks and must provide two referees that can be contacted ahead of the interview date.
