Part time KS2 Teacher job summary
Part-Time Class Teacher (2 days per week)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed class teacher to join our dedicated team at Datchet St Mary's C of E Primary Academy. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs or high ability
- Effectively use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons
- Maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment that supports good behaviour and safety
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school, working collaboratively with colleagues
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Excellent subject knowledge and a good working understanding of the National Curriculum
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons that are well-structured and effectively use lesson time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work as part of a team
- Supportive of the school's Christian values and ethos

- Enthusiastic and committed approach to teaching
- Experience in providing outstanding learning experiences for pupils
- High expectations of all children and a track record of helping them achieve their full potential

Salary: National Pay Scale £330750-£45037 - Pay award due September 2025
