Part-Time Class Teacher (2 days per week)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed class teacher to join our dedicated team at Datchet St Mary's C of E Primary Academy. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs or high ability
• Effectively use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons
• Maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment that supports good behaviour and safety
• Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school, working collaboratively with colleagues

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Excellent subject knowledge and a good working understanding of the National Curriculum
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons that are well-structured and effectively use lesson time
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work as part of a team
• Supportive of the school's Christian values and ethos

• Enthusiastic and committed approach to teaching
• Experience in providing outstanding learning experiences for pupils
• High expectations of all children and a track record of helping them achieve their full potential
• Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive, safe learning environment

Salary: National Pay Scale £330750-£45037 - Pay award due September 2025
