Hawley Primary School is looking for an experienced, motivated teacher to join our Key Stage Two team in September 2026. This part-time role (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week) involves teaching an upper KS2 class as part of a job-share arrangement. We're looking for an excellent practitioner with at least 2-3 years' KS2 experience who is passionate about learning, personal development and growing their own practice as part of our dynamic team.
The Role Includes:
- Teaching 2 days per week (days to be discussed with the successful candidate)
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons for an upper KS2 mixed-age class
- Working collaboratively with your job-share partner and the wider KS2 team
- Regular PPA time and access to our comprehensive CPD programme
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning in Key Stage Two (ideally Years 5/6)
- Have experience teaching mixed-age classes with strong differentiation skills
- Show creativity and passion to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with children
- Shows, and is willing to foster, positive relationships with families and carers in our school community.
- Recognise and understand the increasing SEND and trauma needs of children today, ensuring that all children flourish
- Be reflective and continually consider how they can improve upon practice in order to achieve excellence
- Dynamically monitor, assess and record children’s achievements in order to ensure strong progress for all
- Be a friendly, engaging member of the staff team, working alongside two other members of Key Stage two staff.

Hawley Primary School is a inclusive, happy school, where our staff promote independence, creativity and enthusiasm for learning.
Hawley Primary School was founded in 1854, is maintained by Hampshire Education Authority and serves the area of Blackwater and Hawley. The school is situated in the region of Farnborough, Frimley and Camberley and within easy access of the A30 and the M3.
The school has seen many changes since its foundation and now comprises eleven classroom bases, a food technology area, our Fiction Factory Library areas, an ICT suite and developing a range of engaging outside learning spaces such as a science-enquiry pond, the imaginary playzone and trim trail.
