We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Pastoral Administrator to join our friendly and committed pastoral team. You’ll play a vital role by managing key administrative processes, and helping to ensure students first aid needs are effectively seen to.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ICT and organisational abilities
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and remain calm under pressure
- A team-oriented mindset with the confidence to lead and motivate others
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
Experience in a school or similar environment, knowledge of Bromcom/Synergy, and a First Aid qualification are desirable, but not essential.

You’ll be working alongside a passionate team including our Education Welfare Officer, Heads of Year, Behaviour Support Officers, School Counsellor, and other pastoral administration staff – all dedicated to helping students succeed both academically and personally.

This is a full-time, all-year-round role (37 hours/week), with 24 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. You’ll report to the Education Welfare Officer and be responsible for a wide range of pastoral admin tasks, including:
- Managing student records, admissions, and first aid provision
- Creating and maintaining Health Care Plans
- Supporting school events and pastoral communications
- Line-managing the Pastoral Administration Assistant
