Pastoral Manager job summary

Hours of work: Full Time: 37 hours per week. 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday. 8:30am - 4pm Friday (including half an hour unpaid lunch). Term time - 39 weeks per year including Inset Days.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Pastoral Team, to support and shape the lives of young people through care, passion and commitment and enhancing the lives of some of our children. We can offer comprehensive training and support as part of this post. You will be assigned two-to-three-year groups to support and enjoy working with throughout their time at Henley. You will be a key part of our wider pastoral team including Heads of Year and our Senior Leadership team.

Overall Responsibility

  • Through academic, emotional and pastoral support, promote positive behaviour and attitudes to learning from our students within the school.
  • To assist the Pastoral Team with day-to-day monitoring and promotion of high standards of attendance, uniform and behaviour for learning.
