We are looking for an Apprentice - This maternity cover role will provide pastoral and welfare support to students, helping with attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and engagement, alongside administrative support for the pastoral team, record keeping and communication with students, families and colleagues.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the pastoral team, maintaining accurate records relating to attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and student welfare.
- Assist with monitoring attendance and punctuality, producing reports and supporting follow-up communication with families.
- Support students within pastoral areas, helping to promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement in learning.
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of student interventions, mentoring programmes and pastoral initiatives.
- Build positive and professional relationships with students, parents/carers and staff.
Pay range:
Apprentice Rate 1: £11,923.86 (FTE: £15,434.33)
32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Fixed Term for the duration of the course
Qualifications and Skills:
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Commitment to completing a relevant apprenticeship qualification.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
