We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and well-organised individual to join our team as a Pastoral Support Assistant / Safeguarding Administrative Assistant. This vital dual-role position supports both the wellbeing of pupils and the smooth running of safeguarding processes across the school.


You willsupport the pastoral and academic development of pupils by delivering targeted interventions, monitoring behaviour and attendance, and working closely with the inclusion team to ensure all pupils (particularly those who are vulnerable, such as SEND and PP) are fully supported. You will also be responsible for key safeguarding administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate pupil records, updating CPOMs, coordinating welfare checks, and supporting communication with families and external professionals to ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.

We’re looking for someone with a genuine commitment to student welfare and inclusion, experience working with young people in a pastoral or support role, and strong organisational skills, especially when handling sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator, a reliable team player, and demonstrate professionalism and discretion at all times.
