Pastoral Support Assistant job summary

St Peter’s are looking to recruit enthusiastic and professional members of support staff to provide support to senior
staff on student pastoral issues promoting positive student behaviour and wellbeing across the academy.
The ideal candidate will:
● Have experience or working with children and young adults
● Be able to empathise with student requirements
● Work as part of a team, as well as working independently
● Be professional, proactive, with a 'can-do' attitude
● Have excellent, general IT skills
● Prioritise workload and cope with changing demands of role
● Have excellent communication skills to deal with students, staff and external agencies
● Be patient, friendly and approachable
● Support the academy’s Christian ethos
