Scale 6 (point 19 - 22)
£24,144 - £25,520 actual salary per annum (subject to pay award)
Term time only plus INSET days (39 weeks per year)
All Saints Academy would like to recruit a Pastoral Support
Worker who will work closely as a second Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead with
the Student Support team and Heads of Year.
The successful candidate will work as part of a strong
pastoral team and support students in areas such as mental health, anxiety,
bereavement and friendship worries. This will support students to enhance their
opportunities, strive towards excellent attendance and outstanding behaviour.
The successful candidate will offer advice and support to
help our students develop positive coping strategies which will empower them to
develop their own resilience and emotional well-being.
They will bring to the role an ability to demonstrate
empathy and understanding, with previously gained experience, knowledge and
excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will need to be aware of current safeguarding legislation and a duty to raise any presenting concerns via the relevant internal and external procedures.
