Pastoral Support Worker - Term Time Only job summary

We are looking to appoint a Pastoral Support Worker, to support the needs of our students as well as ensuring they adhere to boundaries and expectations. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head of Year to provide pastoral care for the students in the year group whilst working collegiately to support with the administration of pastoral systems.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide pastoral support for students.
  • Help to supervise and administrate the Reflection Room for students who have temporarily been withdrawn from class.
  • Help to administer the school’s On Call and detention systems.
  • Provide pastoral support to Heads of Year including administrative assistance and the investigation of behavioural incidents.
  • Liaise with parents and outside agencies as required.
  • Work effectively and flexibly as part of a team.
