- 25 hours per week, working hours 8:30am to 1:30 Monday to Friday (start date is flexible for the right candidate). Term time only plus 3 of the 8 school INSET days, equivalent to 43.3167 paid weeks per year.

Full-time equivalent salary
- £21,968 - £24,054 pro rata
What skills and experience we're looking for
Role:
- To work closely with the Headteacher and SENDCo
- To support the aims, objectives and ethos of the school
- To possess a passion for building and developing parent partnerships
- To provide high standards of support for parents and children, including signposting to relevant external agencies
- To attend multi-agency safeguarding meetings and to provide training for staff
Qualifications:
Previous experience of pastoral support work and safeguarding practice would be preferable.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children essential
- Previous experience of working with children developing their social, emotional and mental health needs desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced practitioner to provide excellent pastoral care for our children and their families. The successful applicant will work with teachers and our SENDCo to ensure that the right level of targeted support and intervention are provided swiftly, with the aim that our children are able to achieve their full potential. In addition, the successful candidate will share a safeguarding responsibility with the current leads in school.
