The University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Officer to provide an efficient and high-quality payroll service. This permanent role is 37 hours per week, term-time plus staff development days and 10 additional days, and will be fully based on-site at our central office.

As part of our HR team, you will play a vital role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and efficiently, while supporting pensions, benefits, and employee lifecycle administration. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, handling payroll queries and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused individual with strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn. Experience in payroll or benefits is desirable, but full training and the opportunity to gain a fully funded payroll qualification will be available. Strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive information are essential.
