About the Post
We are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic PE Cover Supervisor to join our fantastic team at Poole High School. We are looking for a motivated and inspirational colleague with a passion for sport and transforming the life chances of young people. You will be teaching all subjects across the curriculum including PE lessons. A keen interest in sport and/or coaching experience would be an advantage but not essential. Previous post holders have used this as a springboard to a teacher training course.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
Supervise classes for absent teachers as required specialising in PE
Assisting students with the work set by the teacher or head of department
Provide feedback to the teacher of the behaviour and progress of classes and individuals
To carry out daily PE safety checks
To work with the PE department in supervising clubs and activities
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
