What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a PE teacher who has a relevant sports qualification in a range of sports and has successful teaching experience of primary aged children in a range of sports.
You should have:
- experience of planning and delivering PE lessons from Reception class to Year 6
- a consistent track record of outstanding practice in PE
- ability to maintain a positive school ethos with a focus on high achievement for all
- an awareness and understanding of recent educational developments in the teaching and learning of PE
- experience of primary level sporting competitions
- commitment to working as part of a team, encouraging others to develop their leadership skills and to deal sensitively with others
- ability to establish excellent and productive working relationships with strong communication skills

Ramsbury Primary School, near Marlborough, is looking to appoint a PE teacher or PE HLTA. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic about the teaching and learning of PE and be someone who can inspire, challenge, motivate and support all children from Reception to Year 6. As our PE teacher, you will teach PE to each class, for either an afternoon or morning and prepare our children for competitions.

The position is a permanent contract, for 3 or 4 days per week. We are looking to appoint the right candidate from Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), to an unqualified teacher to a main scale teacher.
