PE Teacher (maternity cover) job summary
Saltash Community School is seeking an ambitious and inspirational practitioner to deliver PE and sport at Key Stage 3,4 and 5, and Cambridge Nationals and Technical in sport at KS4 and KS5 starting October 2022. This position is fixed term maternity cover. We wish to appoint an outstanding individual who has the necessary skills and attributes to have a positive impact upon teaching and learning at Saltash Community School. We are looking for a candidate who is a role model to our students and passionate about engaging students in learning.
Experience of teaching Level 2 Cambridge Nationals in Sport Studies and Level 3 Cambridge Technical in Sport and Physical Activity sport is preferable, but not essential.
The right candidate will be able to inspire and innovate girls and boys of all abilities. They will contribute to our successful extra-curricular programme, promoting both participation and driving excellence. To this note, an experience in netball and ‘Girls Active’ would be preferable but not essential.
