PE Technician job summary

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Provide efficient and comprehensive technical support to the Physical Education and Sport Department.
    • Assist the Head of PE in the delivery of high-quality PE and sporting activities.
    • Prepare, maintain, and organise sports equipment, facilities, and resources for lessons and events. Ensure equipment is safe, fit for purpose, and stored appropriately.
    • Support the smooth running of PE lessons, extracurricular activities, fixtures, and sporting events.
    • Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for lessons, competitions, and school events.
    • Monitor stock levels and support the ordering and management of PE resources and equipment.
    • Maintain accurate records relating to equipment, maintenance, and departmental resources.
    • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.
    • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learner participation, engagement, and success.
    • Contribute to the department's commitment to providing opportunities that enable all learners to thrive.
    • Undertake other duties as required to support the effective operation of the PE Department.
