Salary: Grade 4 £25,988 - 27,254
37 hrs per week, (full year role)
Mon - Thurs 8.00am - 4.00pm and Fri 8.00am - 3.30pm with a half hour unpaid break
Walton High is looking to recruit a PE Technician at our Brooklands Campus . The purpose of the role is to provide effective support to the Leading Teacher for PE and teaching staff in the planning, preparation, delivery and assessment of PE and Games and to assist these staff in the out of school sports curriculum, including holiday activity schemes.
You will also be required to drive the mini bus to Sports fixtures and tournaments.
The role would suit an enthusiastic individual who can communicate effectively with students and has a flexible approach to work to enable effective delivery of service.
Walton High opened in 1999 with 120 Year 8 students. Since then the school has grown significantly and now has over 2,000 students on roll, including 300+ Post 16. The school has an excellent reputation and is consistently oversubscribed.
In November 2016, Walton High expanded onto a second campus at Brooklands which is only two and half miles from the original Walnut Tree Campus. Each campus now has over 1,500 students in Years 7-11 and a considerable Post-16.
