We're looking for a motivated and organised People Admin Team Leader to lead our People Administration team and ensure our schools and central teams receive a responsive, high-quality and customer-focused service.

This brand new role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes, data and systems and making sure things run smoothly. You'll provide day-to-day leadership to a team that supports recruitment, onboarding, contracts, compliance, payroll administration, compliance and people systems, helping to deliver a positive experience for colleagues and leaders across the Trust.

As People Admin Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the People Administration team, you’ll take the lead on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data and systems, help shape our people metrics to support data led decisions, and drive continuous process improvement activity.

You'll oversee workloads, provide guidance and support to team members, and work closely with schools and colleagues to ensure their needs are met.

This is a hands-on role where you'll combine people management with operational delivery, helping the team provide an excellent service while identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

As People Team Admin Leader, you will

  • Leading, motivating and developing the People Administration team
  • Overseeing key people administration processes.
  • Lead on HR and payroll data and systems accuracy and integrity
  • Producing key people reports and managements information
  • Monitoring workload distribution and service standards.
  • Resolving queries and supporting colleagues with complex administration matters.
  • Identifying and delivering efficiency improvements
  • Building strong relationships with leaders, managers and colleagues across the Trust.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has experience of leading or supervising a team, and enjoys supporting and developing others.
  • Is analytical and data driven, with experience of HR and payroll systems and people metrics.
  • Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Builds positive, solution focused and always looking for ways to improve.
