Working Hours
Full time, 37 hours per week. Flexibility over working hours is available and part-time applications will be considered. Actual salary will be adjusted accordingly. Hybrid working will be considered.
Abbey Multi Academy Trust is seeking an experienced and approachable People Advisor to join our central People team on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover. This is a varied generalist role supporting leaders, managers and colleagues across our academies with practical, timely and accurate people advice.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can:
Act as a first point of contact for people-related queries and provide clear advice on policies, procedures and terms and conditions
Support employee relations casework including absence management, investigations, hearings and occupational health referrals
Support recruitment, safer recruitment checks, onboarding and induction
Complete accurate people, payroll and pension administration and make effective use of our people systems
Work collaboratively with managers and People Services team colleagues to provide a consistent and responsive service across the Trust, you will be:
An experienced people or HR adviser with sound generalist knowledge across the employee life cycle
A clear and confident communicator who can build positive working relationships at all levels
Organised, accurate and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality
Practical, approachable and able to work with empathy and sound judgement
CIPD qualified at Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum. Level 5 is desirable
