Come to work in a thriving community. The Gosforth Group is a multi-academy trust consisting of six schools (Gosforth Academy, Gosforth Junior High Academy, North Gosforth Academy, Jesmond Park Academy, Callerton Academy and Great Park Academy) committed to providing a superb education for students from Year 5 through to Year 13.
North Gosforth Academy is a small secondary school with a strong focus on providing high quality education in a safe, happy and caring environment. Community is at the heart of what we do. Each student is a valued member of the academy and given opportunities which will allow them to thrive as an individual, both academically and in their own personal development.
Students receive a first class education from our team of enthusiastic, dedicated teachers and our pastoral and support staff. We have high expectations of both ourselves and of our students, and we strive to develop their talents and help them succeed. We offer a diverse and broad curriculum with both academic and vocational learning opportunities for all and a subject mix that both engages and inspires. We recognise the value of enrichment opportunities and a holistic approach to student development. We have dedicated timetabled sessions focussed on extra-curricular activities, career opportunities and post-16 progression.
Our aim is that having this rich school experience means that our students leave the academy well equipped to thrive in a busy, challenging, modern world.
We are very proud of what we do at North Gosforth Academy.
