What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional people partner to join our trust's HR Centre of Excellence and support the next phase of growth in Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and Liverpool.

Our mission is to challenge educational and social disadvantage in the North. As a school trust of 17 schools, we are committed to making a difference where it matters most through delivering exceptional education in our schools in Bradford, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester, which include primaries, secondaries, all-throughs and a standalone sixth form.

Our HR Centre of Excellence exists to support our leaders in making better decisions relating to their people, to support with employee relations issues and to ensure we recruit, develop and retain talented individuals within the sector. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of supporting and influencing leaders at all levels
  • An understanding of the principles of change and have experience in supporting leaders and their people through change
  • Strong employee relations experience, with good knowledge of employment law and a commitment to keeping this knowledge up to date
  • Have a strong moral purpose and drive for improvement
