Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

  • Plan and deliver engaging, progressive instrumental lessons that meet the needs of students of varying ages, abilities, and experience.

  • Develop students' technical proficiency, musical understanding, performance skills, and enjoyment of music.

  • Prepare students for graded music examinations, performances, auditions, and assessments where appropriate.

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/carers.

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson content, and student achievement.

  • Adapt teaching approaches to support students with differing learning needs and abilities.
