Personal Assistant to the Headteacher job summary
We are seeking an exceptional, highly organised and proactive professional to provide executive support to the Headteacher and play a key role in the smooth running of our school. As the first point of contact for staff, governors, parents and external stakeholders, you will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise a varied workload and the discretion to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity.
You will manage the Headteacher's office with minimal supervision, using your initiative to organise competing priorities, maintain effective administrative systems and build positive relationships with staff, learners, parents and external agencies. The successful candidate will have excellent ICT skills and be confident using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn bespoke systems. Experience of SIMS is desirable. You will also have a sound understanding of school systems, HR policies and procedures, and data protection requirements, including GDPR.
