We are looking for a motivated and conscientious Personal Progress Tutor to join our dedicated pastoral support team. In this role, you will support students in achieving academic and personal success by promoting excellent attendance, engagement, and progress. You will build strong relationships with learners, helping them to overcome barriers and stay focused on their goals, while also coordinating with teachers, managers, and families to ensure consistent support.
You will deliver individual coaching through termly Personal Development Reviews, set SMART targets, and lead weekly tutorial sessions that focus on progression, wellbeing, and personal growth. Acting as the first point of contact for your students, you will triage to relevant internal services where needed, provide progression support and closely monitor attendance and behaviour, taking prompt action when concerns arise.
This role requires excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the confidence to work independently and maintain high professional standards. Experience supporting young people in an educational or pastoral setting is desirable, and a commitment to ongoing development is expected.
