As phase leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the school’s relevant key stage curriculum, delivering high-quality teaching and effective use of resources. You will work to improve, and be accountable for, learning standards and achievement for all pupils within a designated phase, while also carrying out the duties as a classroom teacher. You will offer guidance and support to teaching staff, modelling best practices and showing up-to-date knowledge of current evidence-informed theory and practice.

As English Lead, you will be responsible for providing exemplary classroom practice and leading the strategic development of our English curriculum, ensuring it is progressive, cumulative, and effectively implemented from Early Years through to Year 6. You will use your expertise to coach colleagues and ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning in this core subject.

As Phase Leader/English Lead, you will be expected to fulfil the responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the STPCD, including planning and teaching lessons, assessing pupils’ progress, and managing behaviour effectively.

Whether you are an aspiring leader looking for your next challenge, or an experienced practitioner ready to bring your skills to a new setting, we encourage you to apply. We are seeking someone with passion, vision and the ability to make a real difference for our children.

Interviews will be held week beginning 8th December 2025.
