Are you an ambitious and passionate teacher, looking to take the next step in your career and develop your leadership skills? Do you have a particular interest in developing Early Years practice and managing the transition into Year1? Holcombe Brook Primary School has an excellent reputation for our inclusive ethos and our vibrant learning environment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Phase Leader to lead us into the next phase of our development.

We are looking for an experienced class teacher to join our committed team of experienced staff. We welcome applications from teachers with particular experience in Reception and an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum. You will have a passion for innovative learning and teaching practice and be willing to lead and advise staff across a specific phase: either EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

You must be an excellent teacher with ambition, drive and a passion for learning both indoors and outdoors. You will need to have successful experience of working with children with special educational needs.

You should have experience in leading a subject including monitoring attainment and achievement and supporting colleagues through targeted CPD.

You will be part of the Leadership Team working closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher. Holcombe Brook Primary School is a “good” school where pupils thrive. We set high expectations of learning through creative teaching – alongside strong pastoral support.

Holcombe Brook Primary School is located in Ramsbottom, north of Bury. Under our motto: Include Enjoy Achieve, we provide a well-rounded, aspirational and inspiring education for primary aged children.
