Play Worker job summary
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and caring person to join our team as a Play Worker during school holiday periods only. This is a casual role, with flexible hours to help cover our holiday club sessions as required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and engaging children in play, games, and planned activities
- Helping to create a safe, happy, and inclusive environment
- Supporting children’s social development and encouraging positive behaviour
- Preparing and serving simple snacks
- Helping to keep the club area tidy and organised
- Working as part of a friendly team and communicating with staff and parents
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children is helpful, but not essential
- A warm, patient, and positive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible
