Play worker job summary
The Trustees of Steel City Schools Partnership are looking to recruit a Playworker to start as soon as possible at Mansel Primary.
The details of the post are 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week), for 38 weeks per year (term-time only).
Our schools provide a happy and secure environment encouraging learning through play and supporting parental involvement.
The successful candidate will be reliable, versatile and enjoy working with children. They
- Will assist in leading and engaging children in activities over the lunchtime period
- Must be enthusiastic, a team player and be able to build good relationships with children.
- Will take a lead in developing positive behaviour amongst pupils
- Will oganise and lead play activities and maintain play equipment
- Will supervise lunchtime supervisors in developeing children's posutive play
