Playground Assistant & Lunch Lead

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, reliable and flexible Playground Assistant & Lunch Lead to join our friendly and supportive school team. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with children and helping to create a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience for all pupils.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting and supervising pupils during lunchtime

  • Encouraging positive play, cooperation and good behaviour

  • Helping to ensure the playground is a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment

  • Leading lunchtime routines calmly and confidently

  • Working as part of a team and following school policies and procedures

What we can offer:

  • 11:30am - 1:30pm

  • 2 days (Monday and Friday) - 4 hours per week
    (Days/hours may be negotiable for the right candidate)

  • Additional hours may be available to cover staff absence

  • Term time only

Start date: 23rd February 2026, subject to a successful trial session and completion of safer recruitment checks. Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
