What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Proficiency in literacy and numeracy (GCSE level or equivalent).

  • NVQ2 in Playwork or Early Years Care & Education (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience working with children in a school or related environment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

  • Good communication, administration, and organizational skills.

  • Empathetic, approachable, and positive attitude towards children.

  • Understanding of children’s welfare needs, particularly during midday breaks.

  • Willingness to undertake further training (e.g., NVQ2 in Playwork).

  • Enhanced DBS check required.
