THE ROLEWe are looking for a Part Time Positive Engagement/ Sports Coach with creativity and resilience to join us on our journey. In return for your passion and commitment we can offer outstanding professional development, supportive colleagues and a welcoming environment that prioritises your workload and wellbeing. As an instructor you will lead small classes of pupils, developing and delivering personalised packages of interventions that support their emotional and academic development. This will include classroom and outdoor learning plus sporting activities in and out of the classroom and within the community.
As our Positive Engagement Coach you will take the lead in the coordination, design and delivery of activities to support children in our special school . You will work with a variety of organisations and establish appropriate networks to ensure safe and effective provisions at a range of settings. We guarantee that no two days will be the same and you will have lots of fun!
THE CANDIDATE
Experience in a school or similar setting
IDEALLY experience working with children/ young people with SEN / SEMH needs
MUST be educated with GCSE Math's and English
A-Level or relevant L3 qualification
Car driver with access to vehicle and business insurance
SALARY/ HOURS Starting salary for this Positive Engagement/ Sports Coach role is £30,731 FTE for this role part time equates to circa £18,435 actual annual salary working 22.2 hrs p/w (3 days Mon-Wed) term time only + inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust This role is working 3 days per week Monday - Wednesday
