PPA Cover Teacher job summary
Rowde Church of England Primary Academy is looking for a creative and inspiring PPA Cover Teacher to join its dedicated team on a part-time basis, starting September 2026.
Working Hours: Part-time (0.4FTE, two full days per week). Contract: Fixed term (until 31st August 2027).
We are a welcoming and caring school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the charming village of Rowde, Wiltshire, we have close links with the local parish (who are actively involved in school life) and wider community. Our staff are committed to helping children develop into happy young people with enquiring minds, a spirit of curiosity, love and respect for themselves, others and the environment. We are part of the Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to collaborate and improve local education, and were rated ‘Good’ in all areas during our recent Ofsted inspection.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and classroom skills and be able to teach across the full age and ability range within our school. A team player, you will provide PPA support for teachers across the school as required. QTS status is essential for this role.
