What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for our Pre-school who can motivate and inspire children to be-

‘Independent, Articulate and Aspirational.’

As a Pre-school Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:

  • Deliver physical and emotional care for children across our pre-school rooms and outdoor area.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, in which children can develop social and academic skills and thrive.
  • Take care of children’s physical and emotional needs.
  • Ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
  • Supervise children at meals and snack time.
  • Ensure high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the pre-school and maintain equipment in a tidy condition.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Prioritise the safeguarding of children.
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children.
  • Build close relationships with parents and carers and report daily on their child’s time at Pre-school.
  • Remain up to date with our childcare policies and procedures.

We will be looking for someone who has a passion for working in the Early Years sector.
