What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic Teaching Assistant with good knowledge of Early Years who:

  • Qualifications:Level 3 Childcare. Paediatric First Aid qualified ( training can be provided)
  • Experience:Previous experience in Nursery or Pre-school settings
  • Skills: A good knowledge of Early Years progress and development
  • Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
  • Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.

Your Role in Building Brighter Futures

As an Early Years / Preschool Teaching Assistant at Yeo Moor Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

As Early Years / Preschool Teaching Assistant Practitioner you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils, ensuring safe access to learning
  • Promoting inclusion
  • Supporting pupils learning while responding to individual needs
  • Monitoring and evaluating children’s progress through observation and recording against pre-determined learning objectives
