Preschool Practitioner In the Retreat
Mowbray Education Trust Services Limited are seeking to recruit a Preschool Practitioner to work at Oasis Preschool & Retreat. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, talented and experienced practitioner who has a desire to work with children with additional needs. The retreat is a specialist preschool for children with additional needs.
Oasis Preschool & Retreat is situated on the same site as The Grove Primary School and provides provision for children aged 2+ to school age. The preschool has its own building with various indoor play spaces, sensory room, front garden, back playground, use of school grounds and nature areas.
Our pedagogical approach to Early Years, is driven by various theories, research and approaches which value nurturing, natural, open-ended, language rich, flexible play environments. Our approach supports independence, building relationships, confidence and lifelong learning skills improving outcomes for children regardless of starting points. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual to provide a high standard of education for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years.
This opportunity is open to Level 2 or Level 3 preschool practitioners. A Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are essential, along with current Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates. Along with good interpersonal skills, you will be committed to working with young children and families and be able to work effectively as part of a small team.
This role is working 25 per week, (9:30am - 3pm) Monday - Friday, term time only (38 weeks), fixed-term until August 2027.
