MATERNITY COVER KS1 TEACHER 

Temporary maternity contract from 1st September 2021 

(until the substantive post holder’s return to work - anticipated July 2022) 

1.0 FTE 

Main Pay Scale 1-6 

 

Due to the maternity leave of one of our staff, we are looking to appoint an inspirational class teacher to join the friendly team in our village church school. We want someone who is highly motivated, passionate about children's learning and committed to meeting the needs of the 'whole' child, so that we develop independent and resilient learners. Flexibility and a good sense of humour are also essential. 

 

You will have very high expectations and demonstrate:- 

• Inspirational classroom practice 
• Commitment to raising standards and experience of teaching phonics 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum 
• A positive attitude to working as part of a team 
• A growth mind-set and commitment to Christian Values
