Primary School Teacher job summary

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Academy is looking to appoint an experienced Primary School Teacher (M3-M6) on a permanent basis, to start in September 2026.

As a Primary School Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey and personal development of young learners during their formative years. This role requires a nurturing, creative, and adaptable educator who is passionate about fostering a love of learning in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

You will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of your pupils. Through engaging lesson planning, effective classroom management, and continuous assessment, you will support each child’s academic progress, social development, and emotional well-being.

Collaboration is key in this role—you’ll work closely with teaching assistants, senior leaders, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive learning community. Whether you're introducing foundational literacy and numeracy skills or encouraging curiosity through hands-on learning, your impact will be lasting and meaningful.

School visits are warmly encouraged. The dates available are - Thursday 7th May at 4pm and Thursday 14th May at 4pm.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
