Production Chef Apprentice - Level 2
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Monday to Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm, Friday 8.00am-3.30pm
20% of normal working hours will be spent training.
Hourly rate: £8
Start date: September 2026

The apprenticeship is expected to be in collaboration with Fareham College - South Hampshire College Group

Duration of apprenticeship approx. 15 months

Cams Hill School are looking for a Chef Apprentice to join our Catering team, with the primary responsibility of assisting the Chefs and Bakers with the preparation, cooking and serving of our menu. There will also be the opportunity to assist and learn elements of kitchen management and all the processes and safeguards that are in place. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop your skills on the job alongside a positive and upbeat team.

This role is conditional upon the successful candidate obtaining Grade 4 in GCSE English and Mathematics.
