JOB TITLE: Pupil Support Officer
BASE: Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy

CONTRACT: Temporary- Maternity Leave Cover
HOURS: 22.2 hours per week (3 days – Wed-Fri)
WEEKS PER YEAR: 41 weeks per year (inc 2 weeks non-term time)
GRADE / SALARY: Grade 5 Pt 15 £30,024-£32,597 (£16289- £17,685 Pro Rata)

Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a Pupil Support Officer who can confidently work passionately with our children and families to improve attendance and develop positive attitudes to engagement with education.

You will:
· Have 2-3 years’ experience of working with families, in a supportive capacity
· Be educated to at least NVQ level 3 / 4 or equivalent
· Have a clean, full drivers’ licence
· Have a commitment to on-going personal and professional development.
· Have an interest in and a strong commitment to supporting children’s, development and well-being
· Be caring and compassionate, treating children, families and colleagues with respect as individuals. Uphold the ethical principles and code of conduct.

· Be an effective team player and contribute to the whole school community
· Be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude
