Bowhill Primary School is a large, popular school situated on the outskirts of Exeter. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to be part of our teaching team. We are looking for someone who can develop strong, positive relationships that inspire children to be the best they can be with the flexibility to play a crucial role in helping to raise, still further, the standards of achievement. This will be a permanent contract so in order to secure the strongest candidate we are flexible with a start date. This can be anywhere from 5/01/26 up to 20/04/26. The role would suit someone with Early Years experience as you will be teaching a reception class. You will work as part of a team, under the direction of the Phase Lead and the Headteacher/ Deputy Head to ensure all children are receiving the best possible education to reach their full potential.

➢ have a secure knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and pedagogy to ensure quality in teaching and learning.
➢ plan rigorous and creative learning that is tailored to meet the needs of their class ensuring all pupils make good progress from their starting point.
➢ demonstrate a drive for excellence in all aspects of school life
➢ able to recognise and build on the strengths of all children whilst nurturing their wellbeing.
