Darley Community Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our experienced and hard working staff. Candidates must be flexible and creative and willing to take part fully in the life of our small, but thriving rural primary school. From September we will have 64 pupils on roll in the main school with 20 children in the highly successful, governor-led pre-school. The school will operate from September with three classes and we are looking to appoint a new member of staff to work alongside our experienced teacher in our reception and year 1 class. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with pre-school colleagues and your job share partner and have an up to date understanding and knowledge of the new EYFS framework. You will also work closely with colleagues from our federative partner, Summerbridge Community Primary School, and together you will give our children the very best start to their primary education.

Darley is a picturesque village in the heart of Nidderdale. It serves the local community of Darley and is located 10 miles north west of Harrogate.
