What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to share responsibility for our Reception class. You will help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning, working closely with the other class teacher and the EYFS team to provide consistent teaching and care throughout the week.

  • Plan engaging learning across the seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), combining purposeful play, continuous provision and adult-led teaching.
  • Develop communication and language, early literacy, systematic synthetic phonics and early mathematics.
  • Use observation and assessment to plan next steps, adapt teaching to individual needs and contribute to Reception statutory assessments.
  • Build warm relationships, positive routines and strong partnerships with parents and carers.
